can't commit to an art style to save my life. the drawerrrr [adult]
i really want to expand to chibis but trying to do them is always hit or miss & whenever i do it well it's always like. Super simple. does anyone have advice, tutorials and/or videos for making chibis that still have detail (eg: fancy outfits and detailed coloring) without it looking hyper weird or ridiculous? tyyy
this might be the imposter syndrome & everlasting adhd creeping in again, but im always really amazed by people who draw so much and still seem to be able to talk to people and have other hobbies? i don't really know how to do more than one, it feels like i'm either social or i'm drawing. i can't really do other things or i guess draw fast enough to still have time to interact or have other hobbies. it takes so long to make something finished & i have to neglect everything else i want to do to even do that. i forget to respond to messages or post anything if im drawing and if i try to multitask then i get distracted and forget to draw. there's so much stuff i need to do just irl right now too, but i can't do it if im drawing
(i think i feel this the most strongly with fanartists in particular? if im enjoying a media/watching/reading it i just. cant draw. and they just keep pumping out art after art of the thing they like but its like i enter paralysis until 2-3 years later)

for me, there's a firefly-type insect in one of my projects that can change the color of its light depending on the temperature, somewhat dubiously, this has been used to make color-changing lanterns (oops)
since i've seen a few people a bit annoyed with clicking through warnings, i think maybe folks don't realize that those are the default settings and are entirely optional. i love customization & settings options myself, so its one of the first things i check when i join a site, and sheezy gives that to us in droves.
for mobile users
tap your pfp or the three lines in the bottom right of your screen, then the account cogweel, then tap the "Profile Information" header to navigate to other settings options
for desktop users
click your pfp in the upper right hand corner, and locate account settings in the dropdown menu

account settings >content settings > tags & content warnings > toggle off "enable profile/content warnings"
♦ don't want mature/explicit artwork blurred all the time?
account settings > content settings > maturity settings > toggle off "blur all mature/explicit content"
♦ don't need an eyestrain/blood/suggestive/whatever warning?
account settings >content settings > tags & content warnings > scroll down, you can remove every default warning tag if you want, and sheezy won't warn you about it anymore!
you can also add specific tags that you do want sheezy to warn you about, or just remove the ones you don't need!
♦ don't need to see tone indicators?
account settings > content settings > comment settings > toggle off "display tone indicators" toggle off "tone indicator dropdown"
remember to save your changes, but it'll work!

heyo i'm halfbit!! i love comics & horror & my main special interests are isekai & folklore, i want to make my own comics and i write sometimes!! i sketch a lot but i'm trying to work on finishing stuff more often D: i'm also japanese-mexican american and like to make ocs that are too :))) so that's why that keeps happening. ask me about my projects and worlds and i will talk forever!! my main ones are serpent's quest (dream project) and mari mari (slightly more realistic dream project) right now!! i will make an introduction post to them later :D

!! ok so !! i love webnovels & webcomics & manga in general, my all-time favorites are ORV (life-changing), i also love lout/trash of the count's family, and i had a sung jin woo fixation but really hate the ending of solo leveling :/. i'm currently reading the s-classes that i raised as a webtoon but i'm planning on starting the webnovel soon!! when i have the time!!
my favorite manga are gachiakuta, bleach, jjk, yokai gakkou sensei no hajimemashita, mairimashita! iruma-kun, dunmeshi, kaiju no. 8, and windbreaker. i usually watch the anime adaptations when they come out but sometimes it takes awhile :( its easier for me to read the manga.
some animated media i like is wolf's rain, spiderverse, kipo, rango, coraline, and other shows/movies that are escaping me at this time.
i am not very good at video games but i love hades, rimworld, sky cotl, dating sims & visual novels, and persona (currently playing through p2: innocent sin). also legend of zelda but totk burned me out :(
music-wise i like a bunch of stuff, but usually rap, kpop, jrock, indie pop, alt, nerdcore, and adhd haver music like lemon demon, jack stauber, & will wood (and the tapeworms).
specific artists/groups: queen bee, jid, txt, xdinary heroes, rina sawayama, doechii, cosmo sheldrake, tierra whack, aesop rock, i don't know how but they found me
currently on a kendrick lamar, aesop rock, megan thee stallion, and jhariah kick specifically.

I'M GONNA MAKE A PERSONA (and add images to here) TO ORGANIZE PROPERLY LATER BUT!! i have lots of guys... they all have comic or story ideas, and i am normal about them i promise.
my favorite guy is beltran, who is my pfp rn!! he's really pretty imo and he keeps overworking himself while trying to pursue his research, and if he turns into a dog he might die /gen because he's basically got an immune disorder that fucks him up around magic. he's for my dream project that i want to make into a comic one day called serpent's quest :D.
my pagedoll is another fixation oc of mine, his name is sichen!! he's for a different story (project revive) and is a lot newer so he doesn't have as much lore yet but i love him so much. he can't stop betraying people and i love that for him. he's also supposed to be a side character but i keep writing scenes from his perspective so....
i also have my sona, who is technically 8 guys (i'll explain later) i usually call him yatsu but the individual guys he is have diff names and appearances ^^ he's a fox/deer yokai spirit. he usually has antlers but i didn't draw them here sorry.
