a former kittypet originally named Steel, he came to Harmonyclan after his old twoleg owner, a tech and robotics expert, passed of old age. his twoleg treated him like his own son, having no human children of his own. Steelfoot often finds it difficult to understand clan life due to being a kittypet for a long time, often being judged for it usually by Nighttrick. he isn't ashamed of his kittypet origins, but has begun to feel as though being a former kittypet made him less of a warrior, and less equal, than the others.
