before Duskheart's Destiny officially begins, i want to lay down some rules, since i'm fairly familiar with the atmosphere and attitudes of the comments sections on various sites like DeviantArt and Comicfury. comments will be hidden as necessary. any comments that are made will still show up in my notifications, so to avoid any unnecessary frustration for me and my readers, i have rules and guidelines in place.

Comment Etiquette

- in general, don't be rude. if you don't like Danganronpa (because i'm more than aware of its controversies), don't comment about it or harass me or others. go read something else or even block the comic from view.

- don't leave unwanted criticism. if you have a critique, please ask for my permission personally in my messages. i don't want to make it a public dispute and clog up the comments section with the conversation.

- basic stuff such as no ableism, anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric, misgendering, etc., especially towards Duskheart. he has depression and feline dwarfism. he is disabled.

- no shipping discourse or complaints. i'm intentionally avoiding having non-canon ships from the Danganronpa fandom featured in the comic and i'm leaving them up to reader interpretation unless a character is stated to have a certain sexuality or feelings (platonic, antagonistic, etc.) towards another character.

- characters might do things that are wrong, illogical, unfair, or controversial, and some are morally gray. they can be criticized, but please be civil about it. don't start fights with me or others.

- some characters might act a certain way because of a disability/mental illness or trauma. please don't villianize them or victim blame.

- if you can't remember an event that happened in the story, go back and re-read instead of commenting about it. it's not a huge deal if you do comment (unless it's something that just happened recently), but don't make it a habit.

- if you have a question, feel free to ask in the comments or on the Tumblr page unless it regards spoilers. if you accidentally ask a question that might be a spoiler, don't fret! you can always ask something else.

- things will be different from canon Warriors and Danganronpa V3 (to an extent). you can read about the characters and how Starclan and the Dark Forest works on the Toyhouse or Tumblr page.

- you don't need to have knowledge of Danganronpa or Warriors to read this comic. i myself am not part of the Warriors fandom or community, but the concept and characters from various other webcomics i have read heavily intrigue me. if you're curious about either, you can look at their respective wiki pages. i might answer a question or two about Ryoma (Duskheart in this comic), i just like him!

that's all of the rules and guidelines for now, i might adjust them as the comic starts and progresses. remember to abide by these before you comment!
