There was a trend on Twitter for a while of people drawing Princess Twilight upset at Sunny for continuing magic without her intervention. However, many (myself included) felt that this felt a bit out of place for Twilight's character, for her to turn so cynical towards someone for carrying on her legacy.

So a new trend start to subvert this, with Twilight showing gratitude towards Sunny, and I love this idea so much I knew I had to throw my hat into the ring, and this was the result. This was so fun to draw, it's not every day I get to draw something this emotional.
