in 2022 this youtube channel Half as Interesting made a video on toki pona but there was so much misinformation and mistakes and this is one of the incorrect sentences he used in the video

i wrote out his incorrect pronunciation here, and other than that the sentence is just grammatically incorrect. so i wanted to draw denji saying it lolz

of course making mistakes in toki pona isn't an issue, and it's probably genuinely impossible to learn the language (or any language) without making some... or lots. the issue is making a whole video which is supposed to be informative about toki pona, and not at least making the effort to find even one speaker to check over your work... there are so many people in the toki pona community who will jump at the chance to help someone out! but yeah, it's a hilariously bad video that we like to laugh at
