A while back, Vograce ran a contest titled "dreaming in blue" and I was struck with the desire to enter said contest.

I ended up not winning, or even placing, but I'm still ver proud of this piece I made, both from a technical and from an outcome standpoint. I really pushed myself for this one, and tried a bunch of new things and new techniques for the shading and background. Some of it hit, some of it missed, but it all works to at least some degree.

I also am debating turning it into prints in the future. We'll see. O:
