I had the privilege of being part of the Of Folk and Fable tarot project, and the card I was assigned to draw was non other than the Man, The Moth, the legend himself: Mothman! He is our star card for this project, and a lot of the composition decisions were based around how best to depict the meaning of the Star without just copying the composition of the original Reider-wait card.

This piece was a lot of experimenting with perspective, texture and night lighting, and in the end I'm extremely pleased with the results. It'll, eventually, become a print after I go back and tweak just a few tiny spots and modify the scale but until then, enjoy him here!
