The Fluffyfolks were a species created by the Lythyans, the DNA of the Cloura bivi was used to make them so they share a lot of traits with that species. Only a handful of individuals were made though as shortly after the downfall of the Lythyan empire the scientist had fled the facility and the Fluffyfolk were left behind in cryogenic pods. Due to their artificial creation, they don't have a native planet or a native culture or all that stuff.
