A WIP I'm abandoning, but I thought I would share regardless.
I was replaying Pokemon Red last year and doing a lot of explorations of the original Pokemon game style and tried to exercise on expanding from the simple visual language.
Ultimately, I couldn't settle on a rendering style I liked this for this. But I was fond of the idea. I'd like to re-explore something like this again some time.
