In a future issue of my comic, Zyra is essentially adopted by a group of goth kids at his school after they lose one of their friends and need a new fourth member of their group. They see potential in his alternative style and take him to the mall to shape him into the perfect little goth kid.

They also start offering him cigarettes, which he is too polite to turn down and holds them backwards anyway.
