In my fanfic, I believe Firion would be careful with Amora at first because A) his shyness around women and 2) that OTHER lamia he met. So, after much time of being cautious, this is the first time he's touching her, and that's why she looks a bit surprised.

This plot was originally written to be a comedy but it goes drama half-way through haha
