Here are Betty Boop's parents as requested by an anonymous person, they asked me to draw Betty Boop's parents in response to a Commission of Betty I did for them previously.

They requested I color them however I pleased. Like Betty, they were very difficult for me to draw since they were in a completely different style than mine.

Betty Boop has consistently been portrayed as being of Polish-Jewish descent, but her parents only appeared once in the original series in the episode, Minnie the Moocher.

In the episode her parents berate her for not eating hasenpfeffer or sauerbraten, which I find a bit odd, since those are not Polish dishes, but rather German. And rather than speaking with a Polish accent like her husband, Betty's mother speaks in a German accent.

This is just my idea, but I think Betty's mother is probably a non-Jewish German woman with red hair and green eyes. I came to this conclusion because in the colored Betty Boop episode, Poor Cinderella, she is portrayed as having red hair and green eyes, rather than black hair.

So I made Betty's mother have red hair and green eyes. I also drew Betty's father with a yarmulke kippah to cover up his balding head.
