October in America is the home of two unofficial holidays. Halloween and Spirit Day.

We all know about Halloween, All Hallows Eve, etc. on October 31st, but you may not know about Spirit Day which takes place October 19th.

Spirit Day was created in 2010 in response to forms of discrimination against primarily gay and bisexual male children, boys, and young men, but later expanded to include all members of the LGBT Community. On Spirit Day you wear purple as a sign of support for LGBT children against bullying, harassment, and discrimination.

Russell prefers Halloween, Ash prefers Spirit Day. So I decided to make a pic combining both holidays into one as you can see in the background! ^_^
