Hope is not a pleasure of the naive, but a powerful weapon brandished by those willing to fight for it every day.

This piece was drawn during a pretty bleak period in my life, and it holds a lot of significance to me for various reasons. Notably, this is actually a redraw of an art piece I made back in January of 2018. A lot changes in 4 years (6 years now), and I'm not afraid to admit that hope has become more difficult to hold onto, but that's okay - I love a good challenge. >:]
