If you ever run into this particular spring fairy, I highly recommend you leave her to her business, even if it means your garden pond is suddenly flooded by invasive water lilies... :')

Made for two events on Bluesky: @kiraelric.bsky.social's monthly limited palette challenge, and @hiyoristudios.bsky.social's monthly art prompt: #springfae for this month! I really enjoyed experimenting with this piece, though it was quite difficult to decide some things haha.
I also took it as an opportunity to try using Syncthing to sync my art files between my Android tablet and desktop. I'm really satisfied with my current setup now - it lets me paint on the go, and also continue from where I left off at home!

Water lilies are considered invasive plants in some parts of the world, as they displace native species after escaping containment in garden ponds.
