I never really understood what they are or what they’re about and I see a lot of them on this site so I’m just asking out of curiosity so I can better understand your art attacks or whatever XD
I can’t really recall how I found out about this show but I’ve seen it from time to time over the years and it’s another one of those forgotten Canadian cartoons like Kevin Spencer (I also done a review on that show 2!1!1).
“Odd Job Jack” was an animated series that ran from March 5, 2003 and ended on October 14, 2007 with a total of 52 episodes, the series follows Jack Ryder who well.. gets himself into a variety of odd jobs working as a temp and manages to fail pretty much at a lot of the jobs he’s employed at, he also has some rather bizarre friends that he hangs around with like Leopold Trench who’s just basically a nerdy hacker that doesn’t like to go outside due to some mental problems and Bobby Lee who sometimes acts as an superhero in some episodes.
This series is basically an more evolved and refined version of an earlier work the guys who made the series (Smiley Guy Studios) made called “The Seen: A Night in the Life of Blake Dinken” which was a little short that used a multitude of media and released in 1997.
Now, I really like this series, I really REALLY like this show. Have a bit of an unhealthy obsession with it somewhat lolz :)
I just like the music, the style, the characters and pretty much everything A LOT!! and personally I’d give it an 10/10. :>
So when I was a kid I used to watch a bunch of random things and one of those random things was Ren & Stimpy, which was an animated cartoon on Nickelodeon which ran from August 11, 1991-June 8, 1996 (if you count Australia it ended in June of 1996) which was created by a awful individual named John Kricfalusi (I’ll go into why in a bit).
Ren & Stimpy follows the adventures of Ren Höek, a Chihuahua and Stimpy, a White Manx cat as they get themselves into some rather weird yet unique and interesting situations.
Now Ren & Stimpy as characters initially got its roots from just simple drawings old Johnny drew that later as time went on morphed into real characters, the show itself became legit because Ren & Stimpy as characters were more well liked then the other characters John tried to pitch to Nickelodeon on his show idea called “Your Gang”.
Now what do I think of Ren & Stimpy itself?
Well, I’d say it’s a decent cute little cartoon in my opinion, pretty funny and pretty enjoyable and I really just love its unique art style albeit I detest the person who made the show in the first place because of his creepy acts towards young girls.
But yea, I like the show itself and I find everything about it really fun, that’s all I can say about this series really. 10/10!!!
