What do you like the most about your art?

Probably the shapes I use and the expressions I give to my characters.
I'm also happy I can draw humans too and how I draw bodies. I mostly draw figures from memory though I still have a lot to learn anatomy-wise, but I find figures and hands very fun to sketch.

What are your favorite brushes/tools to use?

I mostly use this CSP brush called Artemus Pencil for my digital art. As for traditional art, I really love using ballpoint pens! Traditional painting has always scared me, but once I tried it for the first time it grew on me. I painted little cat portraits in gouache, acrylics, and India ink.

What is your favorite series/subject to create for? (e.g. a fandom or original universe.)

I mostly draw OCs (either mine or of other people) so I don't do much fanart, but I did draw Loona. I don't have one favorite franchise to draw fanart of, I just draw all the characters whose design speaks to me

Who is your favorite character to draw/write/model?

All my OCs xD

Which OCs are you the most proud of?

Probably Jasper, especially for how long he's been around (I first created him in 2012!), though my fursona is also very very cute

What gets you pumped up to create? Any particular inspirations, prompts, or songs that always get you to pick up a pen?

Music! I listen to a lot of music throughout the day, it seems like I always need to have some background noise as I go though my day and music really helps to set the vibe for art. Another thing that gets me in the mood for drawing is seeing other people's art, especially that of artists whose work I'm a fan of.

Are you planning any large projects? (e.g. Comic, series, zine.)

Yep but it's a secret ;3

Who are your favorite artists? What do you like about their work?

I have many, but one is definitely TerryGrimm. Their art is immaculate: looks like 3D renders but it's actually perfectly rendered digital painting. Plus it's so atmospheric and immersive it almost seems we're looking at a movie frame.

What is your favorite piece that you've uploaded to Sheezy so far? Link it and talk about it!

I think the vibes on this piece are really, really good. It came out exactly as I wanted and it's one of the few pieces I still love even months after making it.

Look at your work from 5 years ago (or as far back as you can go!) and think of one nice thing to say about it!

For being a completely self-taught artist who didn't have much time (and motivation) to study the fundamentals, five years ago I already had a pretty good grasp on character drawing. I can of course see all the mistakes now, but looking back at my old art always makes me happy for how many good memories it evokes: back then I mostly made art out of fun and it showed. Now I have a better understanding of all the technical stuff, but I have to keep in mind to have as much fun as I had back then (all the best pieces come out when you have fun)
