Adalard is Asherwoods mayor, and the person who keeps Asherwood together in one piece. While he’s not a bad mayor at all and his hearts in the right place, he definitely isn’t Asherwood’s best. He can easily be misled, and he’s ultimately easy to frighten sometimes. However he’ll normally own up to mistakes and try to make up for any misgivings, even if his first instinct is to save his own skin. Asherwood means everything to him, and he’ll do whatever it takes to keep everything running smoothly…

History:

Adalard is Asherwoods mayor, and has been for six seasons. Re-elections happen every four seasons, or if the current mayor dies, and Adalards been elected once and re-elected twice. Why did Adalard become mayor, you may ask? To help Asherwood of course! Asherwood is Adalards home, and he’d do anything to help it survive.

It’s not easy, but of course despite being the mayor he has the help of Skurry, the new bard, who helps keep things from falling apart! He at least has a good huntsman to keep them fed, and…everything seems so safe now, under his leadership! Then….what is he so scared of?

Is it Jaeger, the Stoat that Cathol took in, the one that Adalard feels uneasy about everytime he’s around?

Is he still worrying about the disappearance of the old head guard Feore?

Or is he just overthinking things?
