Had a conversation land on the topic of cartoony character designs often landing with a combo of baggy top w/ skinny legs or tight top w/ baggy pants.
Which combination is better? Everyone agreed it depends on the character, then, predictably, everyone had their own views (with multiple layers of nuance) on "what fits better what kind of character".

It was a fun convo, which inspired me to draw these two.
