Richard is being a big bully here, though in reality it's all a bluff. Jillian is not one to take this joke lightly however (and rightfully so) and this elf has a few tricks up her sleeve to deter the giant. This blast could possibly turn him to stone, teleport him across the other side of the world, change him into a frog, etc. The fun part is that it's completely random. He knows now not to mess with this tiny anymore after this.
