They say that evil spirits are restless in these woods. They stalk travelers at night, waiting for the right opportunity to drain the very life essence from their bodies. Such tales must have a rational explanation.. right? Yet when these campers came to investigate this so-called haunted forest, they catch a glimpse of strange fairy-like lights that disappear in the blink of an eye... as well as feel a much more sinister presence that followed their every move...

This time I decided to pull from a old AU where Jac and Richard are ghost-like fairies that live deep inside a monstrous forest. That's right, those who remember Night of the Living Candles would be familiar with this one.
Those unfortunate enough to venture too deep into their territory will be met with a barrage of illusions that are meant to scare off intruders. For if humans linger too long, these very woods will likely claim them for itself.

Present notes: Fun fact! This art was nearly destroyed when the original csp file got corrupted. Thankfully a good friend of mine managed to screenshot it right before the incident, otherwise it would have been completely lost. Go thank said friend for me in the comments, they deserve it x3
