SO! This is Silas! He fights viciously against the Urge, and renounces his blood - then retires to the Emerald Grove to become a druid! The lute he carries was Lihala's, the one you receive after meeting Alfira at camp. He learned to play over the course of Act I - II, and keeps the lute as a reminder of what he has overcome. His hair goes completely white by Act III, at which point he cuts it close to his scalp and continues to keep it that length.
