Second favorite character of mine, inspired by my own work as a seamstress, although that is where the similarities end to be honest.
Violet Gavalloni (center), her husband Romano Gavalloni (right) and her bodyguard Marchello (left).
Violet started out as an orphaned thief girl, who has a unique talent to mechanics, thus the clan used her as a pick locker, plus she was small enough to fit in to places others couldn't. However she wasn't too smart, and when the clan head wasn't happy with her, she took it literally when he said to leave. That's when Romano spotted her, mending her clothes, her bright hair catching his eyes. There are many human-like races in our world, one is almost completely the same, but bright, blonde or white hair and eyes with a tanned skin is their peculiarity, she was definitely a descendant from one of the families. He trained her to be his successor in a very prestigious and very expensive fashion brand, training her to act accordingly. When she was ready to debut to the public, he lay out two choices for her, either she can be his wife, or his daughter. She chose wife, to avoid having to deal with suitors.
Meanwhile Romano found Marchello, an old legend, now old and broken because he couldn't keep his hands off many married women. Getting him back to his old self physically his job was to be Violet's bodyguard, and for years he played his part, not wanting to get in trouble with his new master.
As for Violet, she knew her marriage was just a front, but she still loved her husband for everything he did for her, and she loved Marchello silently, keeping him out of trouble as much as he could.
