18 - digital artist and frontend coder - autistic and plural to name a few
comms: BIG MAYBE. i need to reconfigure a lot, but we can talk about it?
trades: CLOSED until i have more energy ^^;
requests: CLOSED and probably won't do
hai! owen took his front break a little bit ago, so i'm here again :3. not sure if i'll make any new art, but maybe i can upload some old things... also, thanks for the support while i was inactive! that was nice to log back in to ^_^ i think the most i'll try to do is work on my profile code.. maybe later, having some fatigue again right now hahah
so this is my second time writing this actually... earlier i was typing it all on my phone, until i accidentally refreshed the page and lost all of it DX hahah it's ok, i don't mind redoing it...
every system is unique, from how they switch to the features in their headspace--i find it fascinating how complex the brain can become to cope with trauma. i'll be talking about my system's experience(s), since we know ourselves the best ^_^
one big thing i find interesting is how, in our case, we're truly individual people sharing a body. some systems are more of a singular unit if that makes sense, but others (like us) are way more separate. yeah, some of us share a lot of similarities with one another, but i find that to be due to us sharing autistic traits, namely the one that makes you mimic the people around you. most of that is shown via using the same phrases or common vocabulary, or maybe having similar typing mannerisms, but we're mainly unique. i for one tend to use proper punctuation, especially apostrophes, which owen and adrien don't do for example.
a relevant difference between us that i find super cool is how we all have our own art style, that makes the persona feature on this website mean even more to us :). even the alters who've only drawn once or twice have their own style! speaking of, it's neat how we all have our own skills, though that's a pretty common plural experience. for example, i'm the only one who knows how to code, but i can't wrap my head around producing music like owen, gynx, or morgan. even things like methods of drawing are unique to certain alters, like how adrien and gynx use procreate on the phone while owen and i prefer the computer.
then, of course, there's the identity differences. we all have our own preferred name and pronouns, not everyone is the same gender or orientation, etc.. still, we're all cool with the catchall name and pronouns.
...anyway, i can't think of more to say and my brain is mushing hahah, but i had to get the ramble out. feel free to share stuff about your system too if you want :3
like the rest of my headmates, i'm absolutely in love with this site ^_^! i'm not sure what more i can say that they haven't...
there is only 1 single complain i can think of, and that's how you can't have multiple persona accounts like the same artwork. if you try, it'll replace the like given by the first account... hopefully that'll be a changed feature in the full release. other than that, literally everything else is awesome :3
this is the second site ever where i've seen separate accounts for alters (the first being pronouns.cc) and i think it's wonderful! the profile customization is awesome; simple enough for those who don't know coding, yet still allows those who do to have a bit of fun. i love that you can upload music and flash animations, the only other place i know to do that is newgrounds... and it's not very nice over there hahah. speaking of, everyone is incredibly supportive and kind here ^^ it's extraordinarily rare to have such a positive userbase, even bluesky has its fair share of bigots now (still, the majority of users are cool).
i could keep going lol, but i think you get the point--i love this site. i hope more of my friends join it!
hi ^_^ excited to be here! my profile is a bit of a mess right now hahah... i would love to code for it more, but we are so tired :') gonna let my other headmates post stuff,,,
