some little concept-y headshots for my pearl (2022) cbc...! i could never endorse anything that pearl does within the movie(s), but when i first watched pearl 2022, i was in a really dark place and was being mistreated. seeing a woman lose her shit and be awful and angry and lash out and snap was so so cathartic for me at the time, because the situations i was in were environments where i felt i had to mask any negative emotion or mental illness symptoms i experienced. people misunderstand her pretty chronically but iiii get her. shes awful but shes hurt and scared and i love her so bad... <3
