This is Fiyat Neyhos- translated to “The Celebration of the New Home”. The people of Neyhos wear gowns reflecting their journey from the Godlands to Neyhos. The black pants are for the suffering mortals endured through their migration, the red represents their bravery, the green represents finding their new home (and a new beginning), and the gold represents a “self divinity” of some kind.

On to some popular foods!

Yodis Pan- a sweet and soft bread made out of rice flour, it’s typically filled with meats and steamed veggies and topped with a rich sauce with an umami taste. Sprinkled on top are kep seeds.

Sturn Pui- is a sweet treat eaten during Fiyat Neyhos. Its likeness is after the famous Archival Towers. Sturn means tower. This sweet treat is soft with a thick, flavored filling on the inside.

Borafis- Rainbow Fish. It’s only eaten during Fiyat Neyhos, the capture and consumption of the borafis is illegal during any other time. It’s popular for its blue meat and interesting taste. It’s said that witnessing a lone borafis with shiny scales brings good luck.
