Decided to do some experimenting on how I can recreate art styles and the versions of them from different times.
Snoopy and Woodstock: I used the 2013 Balloon for reference, and I basically made a hybrid of the comic style and the Bill Melendez/Lee Mendelson style from the specials (I was actually going for that style but it looked more like what Charles Schulz himself made in his later years doing the comics)
Bart Simpson: The 1990 Balloon was one of the best ways to tell me on how The Simpsons can look odd in the third dimension. One of the first examples too the more I think about it. So I went with my best recreation of the Season 2 style since that season was the current one when the balloon was first in the parade.
Dexter: As far as I am concerned, the Dexter balloon is the only Cartoon Network balloon in the parade. Since I am already going for a style similar to the art style in Sinikka's World, it wasn't too hard for me to draw Dexter, especially since I went with the Season 1/2 style as that was not only what was used when Dexter was in the parade, but also the best style too.
SpongeBob: I decided to go for the 2004 Balloon and my recreation of the style used back in Season 3, especially since some of that season's episodes were first aired in 2004 anyway despite the movie being out then. Not to mention
Greg Heffley: The Jeff Kinney Style was the easiest to recreate and I used the 2010 balloon for reference as it was the most faithful to the art style.
Yeah, something different for Turkey Day. Yes I know I recycled a background from the last comic but eh...
