hi. i sure haven't been posting, huh
my migraines are getting progressively worse and it's meant that i've been almost completely unable to draw :/

b ut. i've had a few weirdly good days, and it's been rainy and cool... so that let me actually do things!!!
i threw together a simple(r) base to use for examples of helicoids. i tested it out with sol, the mascot, and i love the result. it's a bit wonky, but who cares! it's just for temporary examples, so whatever

despite my inability to draw lately, i have been working a whole lot on the closed species i'm developing: helikind! my goal is to have a temporary site up and presentable by the time art fight starts, and i Think i'll manage it
it's still very much a wip at the moment (it needs a lot of finalising, reorganising, and general cleanup, plus example images), but feel free to check it out if you're interested!
it's got the most relevant info up and presentable, but everything past the species info is still very rough |D

and, if you'd like to be alerted when the species opens for wider testing/launches, you can keep an eye on the site -- or follow me here on sheezy! i can guarantee you i will not shut up about these guys once they start to get properly moving
