AU Rose design heavily inspired by a post by arrozaurus!
Design notes:

• More vibrant, darker colours like PD had, rather than the pale, sucked-out “unattainable purity” palette of Canon! Rose
• A shirt! Based on her wearing the Mr. Universe merch as her pyjamas in Story For Steven, I’d like to think Rose would grow to like wearing shirts more publicly rather than only in the confines of her room. Also symbolic of her being more casual than some elegant leader.
• Shorter skirt length for practicality! Perfect for stomping on puddles and getting herself dirty. The middle bit under the star is shaped like a shield :>
• Diamond pupils. Acknowledging herself as being made to be a diamond, but in a “Now I’m more blatantly defying my original purpose” kind of way.
• Pink-Diamond-coloured pores along her skin, both as a way of making her look more human and another acknowledgment of her past.)
