some notes:

• Outwardly, it doesn’t look like Hiccup’s RainWing heritage did anything other than give him green eyes and make him physically weaker than all the other SkyWings, but… if you spend some time observing him, you’ll notice he’s pretty good at climbing trees and has a fairly strong grip.
• Hiccup’s head horns are based on Toothless’ ear nubs. His broken horn is based on Book!Hiccup’s helmet.
• Axe’s spikes are based on Stormfly’s spikes.
• Lout, Fish, Tuff, and Ruff’s horns are based on their helmets.
• Lout’s colours are based on Hookfang.
• The twins’ scale patterns + their spine spikes are based on Barf & Belch.
• My personal headcanon for SandWings is that they have massive eyelashes to keep out dust, like camels. Tuff’s eyelashes are round while Ruff’s eyelashes are spiky.)
