新年快乐! We are now officially in the year of the fire horse my dudes
Auuughhh i’m gonna have to wait foreeevverrrrrr
Yeah. That’s literally it. In a world where i have to constantly watch out for images that look too yellow or smooth or have weird limbs & shadows or posts worded strangely like i’m a medieval peasant trying to get through a harrowing journey between kingdoms without being snatched by the fey, I gotta say being here on sheezy is super refreshing. Props <3
WAHOOOOOOO

AT LONG LAST, I'VE UPLOADED LIKE 8 YEARS' WORTH OF ART. I'M FREEEEEEEEE
Is it weird that i still draw characters as having four fingers? I thought that four fingers instead of five was like… Just common practice, but then I recently came across someone critiquing someone else’s cartoon art asking “Why does everyone have four fingers?!” And I will say it wasn’t like some baseless takedown slander review; they’d made other good points in their critique, but that specific part just stood out to me.
But now I’m. Overthinking. About my art having four fingers instead of five. Even though Literally Nobody Ever in all of the 9 years I’ve been posting art online has mentioned anything about how many fingers I draw.
Idk! My usual internal response to these sorts of things is that there’s no right or wrong way to draw & can do whatever I want as long as I’m having fun and being respectful, but am I holding myself back with my four-fingered cartoon shackles? Is there some great secret to the mysteries of the universe I’ll unlock if I draw the proper amount of fingers???
