I don't often have time to work on personal projects, much less fan-art, but a few months ago I got word that Don Bluth was going to be in my city for an event.

He's arguably the best living animator today (at least in my opinion) and a huge inspiration for not just my artwork, but who I am as a person.
So I made this in the hope that I could get him to sign it and hang on my wall. Maybe that's a little weird, but it would've meant a lot to me.

But alas, it was not meant to be. It was stormy the weekend of the convention and many guest appearances were cancelled due to the inclement weather.
I'm not sure if I'll ever get another opportunity to have the man sign this, but I'm still glad I had a chance to pull out the markers and draw some dinos. :)
