Companion piece to this literature!

I had some extra free time this month thanks to winter break, so I really wanted to go all out for the art challenge this time!! Thus spawned a scene between a favorite character of mine and his excitable protege! Skylar actually belongs to my very very good friend Versa Matrix; which, did you know he makes music? You should check it out on your preferred music streaming platform.......

This illustration gave me soooo much trouble for no reason. Well, not really no reason... neither of these characters had defined visual appearances before I decided that I wanted to draw them! So I guess I can blame myself for that! haha

But I had a lot of fun with it anyway :)
