Well, fuck me, Sheezy has a meager 5,000 word limit on literatures! I finally wrote something that's wholesome enough that it wouldn't require a rating bump but it's well over that limit at 8,100 words so I'll just be linking it here I guess.

It might not make sense without familiarizing yourself with their world first, but the TL;DR is that Heart was made by their world's supreme god to create the world and the "Dragonhost" to guide it, and Worm was foretold by the god to be the destroyer of the entire world, heralded by Omens at the end of time. As eons wore on, the Dragonhost became increasingly overprotective of Heart and restricted him more and more heavily until very few pilgrims were allowed to make the journey to see him, and he was forced to stay in the Rose Castle permanently. Enter Worm, born into the world, who is amazed at it at every turn and wishes to change fate and live with Heart, loving existence instead of destroying it.
