A local hunters' tale has been making its rounds around the surrounding villages, about a powerful being making its home in the nearby forest. Guarding the wildlife from peril and stalking any hunters that dare step foot in its domain. Last night one apparently came face to face with the beast. Piercing eyes staring right into his soul, he vowed never to hunt again after what he saw.

"I had gone out to hunt game for my family, and I had almost got a buck right where I wanted him when that.. that thing appeared from the tree line. It.. it was like it knew my entire life's story, my greatest fears, and set them out in front of me. ...I can't go back, not after what I saw. Never again."

Easy to say those woods are forbidden to go to from now on. For the hunters' safety, more than the beast's.
