Old (emphasis on old) concept artwork for a fantasy world I'm developing.

Unicorns:
Harbingers of stagnation and omens of bad luck, these steadfast giants are said to resist change, removing it from themselves and bringing it upon others, resulting in odd mutations and unexpected movements in one's life.

They consist of territorial herds. Due to their vast size, their numbers are often limited, but the land they consider their "own" is surprisingly large. They do not consider the machinations of humans, often trodding thoughtlessly upon cities and villages that have developed in the forgotten paths of their long-ranging migrations.

People who get near them often report a deep sense of unease, although the physiological reason for this is unknown.
