This artwork was made inspired by the song Death Should Not Have Taken Thee -- though it may not look like it? I thought the song had a similar feeling to how high and quixotic Alice may be at some point, if he thinks he is right for doing wrong. This is Alice in mindscape, or at least not in real life. Him associating with the queen of hearts is very ironic.
