Promptober day 14: Linger
This scene predates Richard and Jac's first meeting in the Fairy World Detective AU.
Jac knows the giant is kind, for he brings fresh biscuits every night, more than she needs to survive. Despite this she's still too afraid to confront him just yet. She hesitates to move to a different place however. After all, hospitality like this may be hard to come by in the Beanstalk Kingdom.

This is an AU I haven't revisited in a while. Taking place not long after the events of the last installment. I do hope to revisit this story soon, either in art or writing form.
