Howdy!
I recently discovered Sheezy again after hopping on fur affinity to edit that profile.
I read over the rules and terms and this place seems right up my alley.
I really appreciate a lot of the stuff here. Like the Anti Gen-Ai, Anti Big Biz/Corp and Pro "Little guy"/Small Artist/Creators, Tagging System, and Privacy Consciousness.
I spent hours yesterday looking around the site a little bit, reading the rules and terms, and lots of time spent customizing my profile. I'm still figuring some stuff out today like i finally figured out that you put another gallery block and select "Liked Artworks" to show other people's art that you've liked, and that Featured Artwork is actually one of your artworks that you can prominently display on your profile. I guess one thing/nitpick i noticed is that we can only have one pin board on our profile. I would be really neat if we could have multiple. Maybe we can have either a couple of small ones or one big one? I'm not exactly sure if there are any other limitations yet other than the block limits. Nvm just checked the subscribe page.
If I had a job/income i would probably subscribe, but that won't be for awhile. I currently live with my mom and still gotta figure out what I want to do with my life and 'get my shit together'.
If anyone could comment/tell me if there is a limit to how many things or any limits on the pin board let me know! I don't want to bother staff with a simple question that other people people probably know the answer to and might have been asked plenty already. They might be pretty busy. I'm not working on it at this very moment, but I'd love to know when i do start working on it again.
Oh, also is there like a scraps feature or something like that here or planned? I haven't really completed much full artworks since high school. I only really get completed or semi completed stuff during art fight or if I'm making something for someone else.
I'm also working on a sketch to post here! I also just found out that you can post music here too! I'm excited to try that out, I've been dreaming of making music for awhile now.
I also have a history of singing, I participated in school choir in middles school for 3? years and high school for 4 years. I actually have a mini plaque and a medal for my years participating in high school choir.
I also know how to play the piano a teeny bit, not too much though, only some of the little songs that are in those books that teach you how to play. I guess basically I can sight read a little bit and I have a basic understanding of sheet music/the music staff.
As for Visual Art, I'm thinking of posting OCs, Fanart, Fan/AU Characters, and some old Traditional 3D and 2D artwork that I did in Highschool. I'm both a traditional and digital artist. I do mainly 2D, but I'm certainly open to experimenting with 3D (though digital 3D might be a bit tough on my laptop). Although I'm not like super skilled or anything. I haven't been drawing too much now that I'm out of highschool due to having no schedule and having Executive Dysfunction.
I also like Creative Writing. So I'm thinking stories and scenes with my OCs, but also poems and lyrics too.
I've been wanting and been thinking of ideas to make art with more of a darker tone, but I would also like to make more humorous, satirical and cute art too.
I've always been a hobbyist, but I am considering maybe getting a job in a creative field or going to art school or something. I know art school is really expensive, but I think having the support with scheduling and people would be amazing for me. Although I would need respect and support for my Executive Dysfunction/ADHD, Autism, and Mental Health. I guess it's the dream.
It might be a better idea to go into another field so my art stays stuff I actually want to do and I don't get burnt out? Even with people expecting for me to get stuff, especially art, done in a timely manner I struggle. Going into something like Coding or Tech might be another idea? I do like coding as a hobby. Although I'm not good with numbers now that I think about it oof.
Anyway, Feel free to comment and say hi! I love comments :D
