been seeing this float around so i wanted to do it too ^o^ im really excited about this site, it feels like theres finally a dedicated art site in the 2020s that might actually make it and bloom... the community is really nice and pretty active already, i for one get excited to check sheezy several times a day

hobbies/interests: drawing obviously, video games, reading books (mostly horror and fantasy), some select podcasts/audio dramas (magnus archives/protocol etc), and as of last year started learning painting and have gotten really into that too!

favorite medium: i can't pick one. digital art, doodling in sketchbooks, and oil (and sometimes acrylics) painting
favorite subjects (what do you like to draw, take pictures of, making music about, ect): mostly animals/furry, but im trying to branch out into drawing/painting humans and still life. i wanna get good at drawing backgrounds/scenery too sometime
favorite artists/inspiration: my friends' art, a bunch of different furry artists i follow, some classical artists such as sargent and rembrandt, and some various oil painting artists ive been learning from online

how long have you been creating: my whole life!
how did you learn: self-taught, but im hoping to do a 2 year art school course starting this fall! aside from that i was on one weekend oil painting portrait course last year which furthered my interest in the medium
how long does it usually take you to make something: depends wildly on what it is. but rarely less than 2 hours, and rarely more than 8. but there are exceptions to both
what's the big project you haven't got around to yet: i'd really like to get good at painting portraits of people and animals somewhat realistically (as in recognizable as who it depicts while still having stylistic touches). i want to give people i care about paintings of people or animals they care about. for now i still need much more practice to have the confidence for that
