Small series of monotype prints I made that make good gifts... The line art is made from digital line art that I used a laser cutter to engrave the negative on a piece of ply wood, which I then touched up with some sanding. The unique wood grain is left from parts of the plywood being heavier than the other. After covering it in acrylic medium to seal the wood from the oily ink (which makes cleaning a lot easier) it was ready to print with!
I tore up a bunch of nice scrap paper leftover from other people's bigger projects and upcycled them into these small prints... which I then added upon in rainbow with my watercolors. I think they came out rather cute! They look the best on yellow paper.
