Hidden from everyday society, there are certain people who can transform into Pokemon. These are called Pokeumans. Some want to live in peace and harmony with humanity, while others believe that they are a superior race.

But not all is well. A secret war rages between the Pokeuman and the Pokextinction organizations. The former sees themselves as rebels, hiding from humanity due to fear of persecution or fighting against an oppressive system. The latter, on the other hand, fear the Pokeuman want a world ruled by only Pokeuman and thus, they strive to serve as humanities’ guardians, who is right and who is wrong? Who is good and who is bad? And most importantly of all... How did we get to this point?

Pokéumans is a concept that originated in deviantart in the far off year of... 2010, it quickly branched out into a beatiful expanded universe where many people all over the world (though mainly in the us unfortunately) would tell their own stories all connected through this simple premise and it's backstory, over time though the original community has fallen silent but i see something in this world and thus i must play my part to ensure that Pokéumans lives off through my own personal spin off: "Re-lived"

The story of Re-Lived will tackle general themes of action, relationship, change, and identity, but it'll hand on more mature themes such as discrimination, stereotypes, self-worth, labels, suicide and the politics of this fictional conflict between the pokeumans and pokextinction and all their various fanctions, it's a story set in the real world yet with its own distinct history that i want to explore in-depth, it's not required to read the original story for this community or prior ones but it is recommended to understand the full picture of what i'm trying to attempt.

Lex is a young human living in the year 2022 in Mexico City, he lives normally and quietly, with an uninteresting life that passes day by day, but suddenly all of that changes when he, like millions, finds himself tangled in this conflict between species as he himself becomes a toxtricity pokeuman, he will face new and old challenges, make friends and enemies, and overall start to make a mark for himself... but not all is well, something is still missing in his life, he will go through hardships, and one won't be able to help but wonder, what's the point to it all?

He'll be accompanied by friends such as Rodri the aloof yet caring and mature chesnaught, Gael, someone who appears to potentially understand Lex, people who want to approach Lex wether for good, for bad, or for reasons unknown.
