Cadaver Dog is Kultra's character, Bondi, the human guy, is mine.

They technically aren't from the same story, but Kultra and me have briefly talked about having them appear together on occasion before.
Bondi's story was inspired by Cadaver Dog's concept, anyway.

They are basically both military-victimized entities, like ghostly apparitions, who haunt the battleground for reasons.

They're definitely drawn to whatever is going on in the distance from where the smoke is arising.
