In this simple tutorial, I will teach you how to create your own feed!
I personally get a little bit frustrated with the "Browse" tool, so the Feed have worked well for me, where I can just scroll down and see other people arts easily. But the feeds tool is sitll a little bit.. quirky. So here is how I manage to use it!

This journal is focused on teaching a "simple" thing that new members may not know about it! Since I have seen a rise of new members around here.

Whats the diference between "Browse" and "Feed"?

"Browse" works pretty much like a gallery, very similar to devianArt for example, you can see a multiplude of diferent arts and click on the one you like the most. What I dont like about the browser is that I cant easily pass to see the next artwork and I have to manualy go back and fourth or open a buch of webpages, something that my computer doesnt like much.
Browser:
"Feed" on the other hand works really similar to instagram/X and other social medias, you just scroll down and keep seen more art! You can like and move on to the next one. Sadly as right now you cant comment without opening a the artwok fully and getting out of the feed, maybe in future updates?

Other important thing to note, is that Feeds doesn't seem to give a warning to the user for eyestrain, etc. thought you can blur these artworks on your account settings >Tags & Content warnings > Blur content that has Content Warnings.

How to set up your own Feeds?

Okay so.. this is more tricky that it seems, like I said early, the Feeds tab can be REALLY quirky. How so? Well...

• Like sundelly disappering into the fourth dimension.

It may be a bit of trial and error and they are very personal so anything can makem them poof or just not work how they should.
By default, you will have some pre-set feeds for yourself! "Artists I folow", "Everything by Everyone" and "Recent journals"
what those do is exactly what it says. DO NOT EDIT THESE!! You may break them and I have no idea how to get it back.

We gonna now press the "+ Create a Feed" button.

And here we go! I'm gonna slowly go througt it of the items below and what does it do.

FEED NAME: Give it a fancy tittle to your feed! :D
MEDIA TYPE: You wanna see artworks or journals?Just choose!
SORT: Choose how you want to the feed be like! Do you want the newest at the top? Or random order? You choose!
TAGS: Here is where you decide what you want to see! You can put here the only tags you want to your feed to show, CAREFULL Tags are really sensitive, so be sure to look up and see if the tags you want really do exist and are used by the community, if they do not exist it will show nothing on the feed! You can put more then one tag, but one of the tag may get a little "left aside" depending on how many people are sumbiting, I recomend having 1 tag for feed! :D (Personal opnion)
TERMS: I- I'm not sure TwT, I belive this is for journals? Can be a little glitchy if you do something wrong!
USERS & PERSONAS: Want just to see a specif someone? Here you can choose whos artwork you want see, be aware that you need to write the exact name of the person, maybe is best copy and paste.
RATING: Chose the rating the content you want to be! It will turn birght blue when selected.

FILTERS

Here you can choose your filters! If you want to see things created by you, art from people you follow or your liked arts! Beware that if you choose one of this filters it will will exclude everything else BUT what you choose!

ARTWORK TYPES

Choose what kind of artwork you want to see! Now here can be a little tricky, if you choose all kind of artwork types some artworks will get washed away due to the numbers of submisions the site have, example: If you choose Image artwork and Videos and animations you may barely see any videos and animations because of how many sumbisions the site gets on image artwork, even if you sort it by random! So I recomend you to have your own separate feed for every kind of art work or put the less sumbision type with other less sumbisions.

THAT IS IT! You have your your feed now!
