This was from a couple days ago, I didn't post it here because I thought I might post it along some other doodle-y drawings I did over the first week of the year...But then when I was putting that together I thought "This looks too finished it should be on its own..."
The other day I asked on Tumblr for ideas on what to draw because my reflex "I want to draw but have no specific ideas" topic accidentally became a mildly obscure video game character that I didn't feel like going "This is whoever she's from this" about just to feel like I was allowed to post it so I felt like I needed some alternative options.
Anyway one of the only two suggestions I got was to draw Mimikyu which I hadn't done since I was like 14...so I drew it once from memory and once after googling what it looked like. It turns out it's pretty easy to remember what Mimikyu looks like so this isn't as funny as I thought it might be. I feel like the reference-less one DOES look a lot like how I drew Mimikyu when I was 14 though. I suppose this creature lay dormant somewhere in my mind.
