In the heart of a fog-laden street, shadows danced under the flickering lanterns. A new shop had appeared overnight, its crooked sign creaking in the wind. "Mysteries & More," it read, letters curling like wisps of smoke.
Bellatrix stood at the threshold. The air crackled with magic, sending tingles down her spine. She was no ordinary child. A prodigy, she wielded sorcery like a painter with a brush. But this shop promised secrets that even she hadn’t yet unraveled.
The door swung open with a low groan. Inside, shelves brimmed with peculiar trinkets. Glass jars held swirling mist, and dusty tomes whispered ancient spells. A chill ran through her—this place felt alive, as if it were watching her every move.
“What are you hiding?” she muttered, stepping cautiously over the threshold. The scent of old parchment and something sweet yet unsettling filled her lungs.
As she ventured deeper, a figure flickered in the shadows, just beyond her sight. Was it a trick of the light? Or something more sinister? Bellatrix’s heart raced. She had come seeking adventure, but this felt different.
This was a journey into the unknown. And in that moment, she realized: some mysteries are meant to be solved. Others? They might just change everything.
Bellatrix doesn't seem to like this one bit so she has her Bell wand at the ready...
This piece is all I could think of for Halloween
