Made for the Sheezy Art July Challenge: Fossils vs Crystals

Has anyone here ever heard of opalization? It’s a process through which organisms fossilize into opal rather than stone. And that’s all I can think of whenever I look at this month’s prompt.

The title is a reference, by the way.

I’m super duper proud of how the lobster came out!! I wasn’t sure I’d be able to pull it off, but I think I did a very good job. Unfortunately, the sediment covered part of my precious lobster, and it needed to be seen in all of its glory!

So, I made a persona for bonus content and shitposts. It’s meant to function the same way I used the “scraps” gallery on Deviantart (if anybody has ever heard of scraps). To be clear, I’ve been intending to make this persona for quite a while; I just haven’t had any need to make it yet.

So here’s the lobster in all it’s glory

Edit: Fixed the broken links. I knew there was a reason I shouldn't draft descriptions in my notes while waiting for the site to load, but I couldn't remember for the life of me what it was. Broken links caused by fancy quotes. That was it.
