Note: This is about the character not me! I'm not going anywhere.

The character limit is too short for me to probably post the whole thing I wrote so, the TLDR of what is happening is: I realized Rainy the jackalope, while beloved by me, is less representative of me as they used to be and I have not felt right drawing myself as them as much anymore. I've changed in some ways and something new is needed. They will still be perfectly fine and my character, and if I want to draw them sometimes I will. But they are being soft-retired as my main "mascot".

Today is literally the eighth anniversary of their creation. Their first design iteration was posted on this day, and they barely ever changed much. I mostly added the rain toebeans and made some of the dark colors more consistent, but otherwise went with the first design I came up with.

I made a slideshow to celebrate all my years of art of them.

They will remain as my icons and decorations on things for the moment as I don't have my new sona ready with lots of art yet, but when I do change it just know that I will always love them and still look back at everything I have of them very fondly <3
