I know I've been quiet... Sorry about that!
My health's still cruddy - just as I started getting better, I got into a minor car accident back in March, so that set things back quite a bit. I'm alright for the most part, no worries! I don't want to go into too much detail since it's kinda personal. I'm hoping by the time fall comes around, I'll be more active on here. Especially because I'm a moderator now! (I have been for a while, lol...) I want to be on deck to help people out, especially when the lovely rebuild comes along... 👀
I still haven't even uploaded all my art from last years art fight, so I have a huge backlog! SPEAKING OF....

I want to do a fun mass attack, but I also wanna focus on lots on physical crafts. I did a few last year, but I'm hoping to do more this year, especially since I have access to a 3D printer.
So toss me some characters! I also try to attack as many people back as I can. I wanna build up those ratios!

I'm sure some of you have seen my previous journal...And the one before that.
As you can see, things in my life have been kinda rough. I don't wanna go into too much detail, but it's hard to avoid these topics when they're kinda how I live!
That's alright though. I'm here to say things are getting better! Knocking on wood...
I have power again!
My aunt and uncle helped my family out, and so did everyone who donated. It's been a major help, really.
I can't say we're totally out of the ballpark yet - we still have to figure out what's wrong with our house and why we're being charged $17k a month for electricity, but now we can investigate it at least.
I'm personally going to kick back a little and get back to art. Art wise, I needed that break. I feel ready to go! I still have a lot to upload here, though, but it's something.
I'll pick at things slowly. I'm a little bummed, I wanted to make some halloween themed codes, but maybe I still can. I'll make a few fall ones, at least, or I'll try to. I've been slowly catching up to everything while also trying to relax, but I really enjoy working on things here.
I'm also going to be thinking of moving out, too. Dunno when from now that can be, but it's a goal I have now to work towards.

Hi everyone, this is tea's partner, Shiloh @Frostali. I'm posting on their behalf as their family is experiencing a financial emergency which has resulted in their power being shut off - so tea does not have access to their desktop computer. Where they live, the temperature is estimated to reach 90 - 100 degrees this week. As you can imagine, that's not sustainable without eletricity, especially when it comes to their pets.
Their father seems to believe their situation isn't dire and for some reason thinks if he ignores it, it'll work itself out. It very much won't. No one in their family is employed right now. Because of this, their family is at significant risk of homelessness. The power company has also been acting shady and won't send documents confirming what the extra charges are and are demanding 8k.
They have a gofundme campaign open to cover the costs of the electric bill along with gofundme fees
Tea also is opening emergency commissions to help with the cost of everything, with 25% off the original prices. You can find their commission info through this link. They currently will be able to complete commissions on their ipad.

To the watchful eye, you probably noticed I went on a bit of a hiatus!
Things in my life have been...rough. Art fight was a decent distraction, but after it ended not only was I a bit burnt out, but i was also trying to manage a lot of IRL stressors that I won't go into detail here. IYKYK.
Fortunately, my lovely partner came to visit for a week and give me some peace. I really needed that! They left yesterday and so I'm still decompressing, but gosh I feel like I'm breathing fresh air for once, haha.
I'll be trying to return to my Sheezy business now, including helping you all with any technical issues and hopefully creating more codes again. It'll take a while to get back into the swing of things, especially since I have some classes to work on now (hooray! Back into web development!), but I'm hoping that I can ease myself back into online life and my hobbies. Though I can't make any promises I'll be super active, I still want to at least be there to help you all with any technical difficulties you might encounter!
Expect some art bombardments, especially since I didn't finish throwing my Art Fight backlog at y'all. I also plan on doing some redecorating of my page... Maybe something a little spooky 🦇
I hope you all have been doing well and are as excited for the future of Sheezy as I am! Can you believe it's almost been a year since we learned it was coming back??? Time flies.
