My entry for the SF-A2 collab for 2025. The theme this year was just to create an illustration of Miki’s new Synthesizer V design that debuted earlier in the year. At first, it was a struggle to adapt to the required square aspect ratio and the way her new dress works, but I eventually got into a zen state where I was able to figure out the pose and rendering style in one very productive session. Very proud of the colors. Also, this was the first illustration I completed following Procreate’s 5.4 update that added a bunch of new brushes, so I loosely played around with them in the final processing phase of this drawing.
